Fatehpur Sikri once the capital of Emperor Akbar lies 37km.from Agra. Agra and Fatehpur Sikri are affluent legacies of Mughal regime. Sikandra monument is the monolith of Akbar is a perfect blend of Hindu, Islamic architecture. Rambagh 35km. is the majestic ruins of the Mughal city. Mathura the birth place of Lord Krishana is one of he religious Hindu Pilgrimage ,58km from Agra.
Another important excursion near Agra is Bharatpur bird sanctuary at a distance of 54 km. The sanctuary covers an area of 29 km, is famous for its magnificent bird life in whole Asia. Bharatpur bird sanctuary enjoys the worldwide recognition as one of the major winter home of divers migratory species. The main attraction is those of highly endangered Siberian crane. The breeding time of birds is from July to August. Other attractions: chital, nilgai, sambal, boar.
